Client Strategist


Position Summary:

The Client Strategist is a crucial role on the Br8kthru team. We’re looking for someone to represent Br8kthru in the marketplace, serving as a community-connector, relationship-builder + marketing consultant. This role is part account management + part business development. The Client Strategist will co-lead business development efforts as part of the Client Services team.

Aside from representing Br8kthru in the community, building connections and identifying digital marketing + technology opportunities, an ideal Client Strategist will:

  • Continue to learn and discover new + evolving technologies

  • Challenge, expand + enhance their understanding of various marketing strategies—with a focus on how these marketing services + strategies can benefit new + existing Clients

  • Work both autonomously + collaboratively with the team

  • Sign, seal + deliver fantastic new Clients with a combination of inbound + outbounds sales


Client Strategist Responsibilities + Areas of Focus

  • Consult, advise, + develop opportunities based on our service offerings with new + existing Clients, including:

    • Digital marketing — content strategy + creation, email marketing, social, SEO, paid media + analytics

    • Engineering — custom web development, mobile applications, UX + UI design + other tech services

    • Strategy + consulting — branding + positioning, insights + analysis, market analysis + segmentation

  • Identify, scope, negotiate + close new business opportunities + consultative marketing services

  • Lead the creation of Client pitches, strategy briefs + proposals—in collaboration with internal teams as needed

  • Ability to achieve monthly sales + Client retention goals, including tracking + reporting on sales pipeline + Client opportunities

  • Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction + deepen client relationships

  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements

    • Continually working to deepen + expand your own understanding of our service offerings

    • Open to attending at least one (1) industry event per week (marketing, healthcare, manufacturing, B2B, etc.). 

    • Open to reading at least one (1) book per month related to digital marketing or other aspects of this role

  • Work (aka hustle) at least 40 hours per week to achieve greatness as a Client Strategist and help grow + develop our company, Clients and capabilities

  • We are also open to pursuing a part-time role, based on experience + competencies


Compensation:

  • A competitive combination of salary + commission, based on experience

  • Professional Development Stipend (for books, courses, membership or conferences)

  • Mid-year + year-end bonus (*FT Employees Only)

Work Environment
