Content Strategist

Our content marketing team is pretty awesome, and growing! We’re looking for an independent + driven Content Strategist to provide content strategy + copywriting, and also assist in inbound and/or social efforts for Br8kthru’s Clients, and Br8kthru’s own marketing efforts. This role also supports the Br8kthru team by wearing many other ‘hats’ as needed in a growing marketing + technology company.

Content Strategist Responsibilities + Areas of Focus

Content Marketing

  • Content strategy and creation covering a variety of forms and mediums

    • Emails, blogs, social, long-form articles, case studies, etc.

Digital Marketing

  • Assist in Client email marketing efforts

  • Assist in Client social media marketing efforts

    • Design support (asset guidance + strategy)

    • Content review

    • Performance analysis and/or reporting (in collaboration with the manager of digital strategy)

  • Ensure content marketing strategy is aligned with SEO strategy

    • Be open to expanding content-driven SEO knowledge

      • KW research, pillar pages + topic clusters

      • Reporting + analysis

Internal Marketing

  • Support Br8kthru’s inbound marketing efforts

    • Social content strategy + creation, mgmt + monitoring

    • Content creation and/or curation

      • Monthly blog/article creation and/or curation for website + social (articles, insights, company/industry news, etc.)

      • Case studies

    • Collaborate with Br8kthru’s design lead around website updates + enhancements

    • Assist + review in client pitches (research, decks, etc.)


  • Help establish/refine business processes + improvements

  • Collaborate with fellow team members + support a culture of mentorship + learning

Emerging Trends + Team Development

  • Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements

    • Continually working to deepen + expand your own understanding of our service offerings

    • Open to attending at least one (1) industry event per month (marketing, healthcare, manufacturing, B2B, etc.).

    • Open to reading at least one (1) book per month related to digital marketing or other aspects of this role

  • Work (aka hustle) at least 40 hours per week and help grow + develop our company, Clients and capabilities

    • We are also open to pursuing a part-time role, based on experience + competencies

Work Environment
